The butter in the Mimosa salad can cause some people to stupor. But this is until the moment such a dish is tasted. One recipe with its preparation has already been presented above, and here is another one.

Ingredients

  • saury in a bank - 1 pc .;
  • egg whites and yolks - 5 pcs.;
  • hard cheese - 100 grams;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • apple with sourness - 2 pcs.;
  • frozen butter - 50 grams:
  • walnuts - 50 grams.

Preparation

  1. Some ingredients must be prepared in advance: crush saury, chop onion, boil eggs, grate apples and cheese, chop nuts into crumbs.
  2. Now lay out the layers (not forgetting about greasing with mayonnaise): 1 - grated proteins, 2 - canned fish, 3 - onions, 4 - apple, 5 - frozen butter grated on a fine grater (you do not need to grease a layer of butter with mayonnaise), 6 - cheese, 7 - yolk.
  3. Sprinkle the top of the salad with nut crumbs and put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

"Mimosa" with apple and rice

The classic Mimosa salad is hearty. But in order to enhance this quality even more, experienced chefs experimented and added a new component to the dish - boiled rice. Consider the recipe for this salad further.

Ingredients

  • round grain rice - 200 grams;
  • eggs - 5-6 pieces;
  • canned fish - 2 cans;
  • hard cheese - 200 grams;
  • sour apples - 2 pcs.;
  • onion - 1 head;
  • mayonnaise.

Preparation

  1. Rice is washed and put on fire. Bring to a boil, pre-salt the water. The finished rice is washed in cold water.
  2. Eggs are boiled for about 10 minutes. Cool, peel and separate the whites and yolks.
  3. Chop the onion.
  4. The canned food is chopped with a fork, the bones are removed.
  5. Grate apples and cheese on a fine grater.
  6. Now the salad is laid out in layers, not forgetting to coat each one with mayonnaise: apples, cold rice, canned food, onions, protein, cheese, and on top - chopped yolk.

My family also loves a variety of salads. We especially like the Mimosa salad in its different versions.

In general, this salad is not only tasty and satisfying, but it prepares quickly. And, if guests appear on the doorstep without warning, this salad is very helpful. Almost every housewife knows how to make a Mimosa salad. The ingredients used to prepare it may vary.

Recently I was making a Mimosa salad with an apple. The addition of the apple gave the salad original taste... To prepare it, we need these products:
four to five eggs
a couple of processed cheese, I take the Druzhba cheese,
about 200 g butter,
a couple of red apples
one can of sardines in oil,
medium-sized onion,
mayonnaise that you like.

1. Boil the eggs over medium heat for seven minutes after boiling. To prevent them from bursting during cooking, add a little salt. Cool the hard-boiled eggs, separate the whites from the yolks and rub them on a fine grater on a flat dish.



2. The second layer we will go processed cheese, which we also grate. So that they rub well, we put them in the freezer for a short time, so that they slightly harden. Distribute the grated curds evenly with a fork. We take out the butter from the freezer and rub it on a fine grater. Next, grease with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

3. Finely chop the onion. Sprinkle the salad evenly and lightly grease it with mayonnaise on top.

4. Open a jar of sardines and drain the liquid from it. Knead the fish with a fork and then carefully lay it out with the next layer, which is then also greased with mayonnaise.

5. Now it's time to lay out the apples. Rub the peeled apples on a coarse grater. We spread it on the previous layer and distribute it evenly. Do not forget to grease thoroughly with mayonnaise.

6. Take egg yolks and rub on a fine grater. Gently sprinkle them on top and sides ready salad... Then we send our mimosa salad with sardines in the refrigerator for two hours. It tastes much better when chilled.


For my family, I usually cook this salad in the evening so that it soaks well at night. Sardines can be replaced with saury or pink salmon, but, of course, in oil. I wish you all Bon appetit!
